A People at War: Lincoln and the Jewish Community

$ 30.00

In 1861, America’s Jewish population was small – 200,000 in a nation of 27 million. Jewish soldiers served gallantly in both armies during the Civil War; seven Jewish men received the Medal of Honor. This class focuses on the Jewish reaction to the war, with a focus on President Lincoln’s relationship with that community.
